Customers can customise their lamp based on an inspiring example, or can start with a blank slate. Creating the lamp is as easy as just swiping and tapping a few screens that have an intuitive app-like feel.

After the creating process the lamp can be ordered and will be 3D printed just like you’ve designed it.

Mobile first product configurator

As lead designer on this project, I was in charge of creating a Mobile-first product configurator for this innovative Philips product. Based on user tests, the product got refined till ready for launch.

E-commerce platform

My role here was also lead designer. Based on Magento, we created an e-commerce platform which showcased the luminaries. Because the configurator can create tons of different products it’s impossible to show them all on the platform. The shop instead shows customers a select amount of configurated products as inspiration or to directly order. Every product in the shop can then be further customised.
